Hey, totally agree but I think you're missing the bigger picture. Laughing pulls us out of our heads and into the moment as a sort of flow state, and is therefore quite similar to meditation when you think about it.
Mindfullness is simply loosing your sense of "I" and realizing that all emotions and thoughts aren't so seriously connected to a "you" unable to control them perfectly.
Buddhist mediators throughout history have said, "if you're not laughing you're not getting it."
Please keep that in mind before you consider/think about dismissing meditation. Laughter is meditation realized.
